Kekuatan mimpi

Aku baru saja mendapat sebuah lagu yang keren banget menurut aku. Judulnya “power of the dream”. Lagu ini dinyanyikan oleh Celine Dion waktu olimpiade Atlanta 1996. Aku sangat suka kata-katanya. Dibilang bahwa mimpi punya kekuatan yang besar. Mimpi membuat hidup kita tidak biasa lagi. Mimpi juga membuat kita melangkah jauh ke depan. Mimpi membuat kita memiliki kekuatan menghadapi rasa takut kita. Ini adalah lirik lagu itu :

Itu semua menurut aku sangat tepat. Sangat banyak penulis tersohor dunia menulis berbagai buku tentang kekuatan mimpi atau kekuatan visi. Intinya semuanya hampir sama. Mimpi atau impian atau visi membuat hidup kita terarah dan berani untuk melangkah. Salah satu tulisan yang terdapat dalam buku bestseller “purpose driven life” karya Rick Warren kurang lebih mengatakan seperti ini :
“tujuan memberi makna bagi hidup kita. Harapan muncul karena ada tujuan. Mengetahui tujuan memudahkan kita dalam mengambil keputusan, membagi waktu, dan menggunakan potensi kita. Tujuan membuat kita fokus. Jika kita ingin memiliki hidup yang memiliki pengaruh, maka kita harus fokus! Tujuan memotivasi hidup kita.”
So, apa yang kita tunggu. Bermimpilah dan buat hidup kita bermakna.
